A battery pack can pass electrical checks and still fail in the field.

That usually points to the system around it, not the pack alone. Load profile, voltage sag, cable resistance, BMS limits, and operating temperature can all change what happens once the battery is under demand.

On paper, everything looks fine. In the application, the battery behaves differently.
