Hello/Salaam All,

I’m Bedana! There’s been so many new followers to my page thought I introduce myself! My day job is graphic designer but I also own small business owner selling my own products!

A lot of you have been following me since the beginning and saw my transformation into what l'm doing today. I did not start this account with the intention to be making my own graphics and be sharing it with the world. Growing up it was clear that I had talent Mashaa’Allah; in primary school, kids would want to look at my drawings and my high school my art was even showcased in local art shows. But I never believed in myself, I always felt like it was just a hobby. I was afraid to see where my graphic skills would take me, to nurture my raw talent!

Now all my design work means a lot to me because it is the beginning of a new chapter i’ll have decided to give my creative skills a change, to invest in my skills and to push myself as an designer Alhamdulillah I'm thankful for all of your support & encouragement and I owe a lot of my new-found courage to you!

Today I urge you to choose courage over fear, to do what makes you happy and to purse what sets your soul on fire & Allah swt will take care of the rest it!

When creating this poster I remember Allah is The Creator - Al Khaaliq.

He created the sun, the seas, dessert, mountains, the sky, the plants, the trees, space, water, and everything that exists. The creation of Allah swt is so beautiful and we are very blessed to have all these things. So when we look at all the things around us please remember Him and thank Him for everything, Alhamdullilah!

Reflecting on all previous post I have adjusted my goals this ramadan on my planner (link of my website on my bio) and I’m focusing on maintaining a good level of ibadah and also building in good habits that insha’Allah can be sustained throughout the year.

It’s the blessed month of ramadan. Alhumdhillah we almost here and reflecting on the past years I’ve realised how easy it is to burden yourself with goals and high expectations of how much dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and ibadah (worship of Allah). Truthfully speaking I do this every year and I’m beginning to realise that although you should strive to be a better Muslim and definitely increase your ibadah during ramadan, it shouldn’t be to an unsustainable level.
