TikTok is where you want to be! The benefits of TikTok as a marketing space:
TikTok is a video creator app which means it gathers a highly engaged audience by default 🔋 Audience that puts time into creating and editing videos doesn't then scrolls inattentively.

It is still quite new, so you'll have little competition 💪 If it is a local audience you are after, TikTok has great localization features.

Many non-celebrity influencers have a strong relationship-base offline, too. Whatever is their following, double it! 👥

Every brand strives to create viral content 🌐 Major benefit of viral marketing is enhanced exposure to your brand, product, and messaging 👍 However, once the ad goes viral the brand completely loses control over who gets to see it and how they see it.

Pepsi's ad with Kendall Jenner is one great example of viral gone bad. The ad was created with good intentions but it was interpreted as undermining the BLM movement which was a hot topic at the time. It tarnished the celebrity's reputation and put Pepsi in a negative light.

Rebranding. What is it all about?

-Rebranding is the change of one or more elements that significantly influence the brand's identity. So, this is not a simple logo change. It’s a process that goes to the roots of the brand and tears it away to plant it anew.

-People often decide to rebrand because they feel that what they are currently doing is not bringing the desired profits. However, the decision to do it should not be hasty. You must first make sure that such serious surgery is necessary. If that's so, then we go to work!

-So, first of all, we set the right date and give ourselves time to introduce changes step by step. To interest the audience with something new, but not to throw them into deep water. Changes must also be made simultaneously on all channels. Consistency in rebranding is very important!

-There are many benefits that you can gain from properly conducted rebranding. At first, there was MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook. Next, we saw an increasing affection towards Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, and now TikTok. This evolution is seeing a shift from the written word to video visuals, or perhaps one may argue moving from meaningful conversations to casual entertainment. Whether that’s a good or a bad thing, will be left to personal opinions and preferences.

From a business point of view, TikTok is a great tool for creating fresh communication that gets attention. The creativity here is limitless and since it is still unexplored territory, any business-created content is going to get traction.

HOWEVER. TikTok’s algorithm is the trickiest gatekeeper. The algorithm favours trending and new content over the following and account popularity. Therefore, businesses will struggle to draw attention solely on a TikTok platform. Thus, in order to build exposure, your marketing team will have to rely on promoting the content to followers on other SM platforms.

iOS 14 update impacts the Facebook app data tracking permissions. Data tracking is the essential element of Facebook advertising. Many businesses, especially small to medium, rely on Facebook advertising to bring results.

Users who opt-out of the data-sharing permission, won’t be trackable by Facebook pixels. Adding to this, the amount of pixels per domain is now limited to 8.

iOS14 update happened a while ago and businesses have already noticed less efficient and more costly ads.

There are several ways this can be overcome:

-Target Android users only with your ads.
-Prioritise 8 most valuable events and use pixels to track them.
-If you rely on Conversions API you will need to verify your domain to make sure all data is delivered to Facebook accurately.
-Start using Value Optimisation (VO). VO is a bidding strategy that helps you spend a little bit more on customers who are most likely to take the desired action on your website. However, there are certain criteria that your account will have to meet to enable this feature.
