Junior Project Management Role Available
1UC is a leading supplier of change management and training services to technology partners that specialise in Microsoft, Cisco and Avaya. We help national and global businesses prepare and motivate their workforce to adopt to new technologies in the smartest and most efficient way.
We are currently looking for an early career project manager to join our expanding team. You will be working closely with the current project manager and delivery team, supporting the bidding process for large scale projects and taking responsibility for the delivery of these projects once contracts have been signed. You will be learning from the existing team, whilst being the main point of contact for numerous clients and internal departments, with the ultimate aim of delivering these projects on time and within budget.
Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Project planning, developing detailed plans and timelines, setting clear roles and objectives
• Regularly reporting to the team
• Management of bidding process, ensuring the bids are coherent and client specific
• Ensuring all client submissions are completed and requirements are fulfilled
This role is offered on a full time (flexible), permanent basis, and you will be based at our head office in Kemptown, Brighton,East Sussex. (Street parking available nearby)
Candidates are encouraged to apply who have the following skills (these are preferable but not essential):
- Are PRINCE 2 qualified or have relevant experience in project management
- Can interpret technical information, either written or verbal
- Excellent written, verbal and organisation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
- Experience in dealing with large organizations and/or public bodies
- Can demonstrate strong time management of multiple projects simultaneously
