Big thanks to Resource Solutions Limited, who donated their unused laptops in support of the Digital Divide program, where we and our partners are collecting unused laptops and donating them to Schools to distribute to Learners.

Call to businesses to donate Unused laptops.

There is a desperate need for laptops for children. We as businesses can tackle this by simply donating our unused laptops.

C2 IT has linked up with Epsom and Ewell FoodBank so we can:

1) Collect your unused laptops,
2) Destroy the data (in accordance with GDPR and using NIST 800-88r1 certified software),
3) Issue data destruction certificates,
4) Clean and prepare the laptops,
5) Reinstall the laptops,
6) Deliver the laptops to schools for distribution to children that desperately need them.

This is not just a problem caused by the pandemic, it has simply highlighted it and how big the digital divide is.

Another 19 laptops and tablets/iPads delivered to Epsom and Ewell FoodBank to be distributed to schools for kids that need devices for Remote Learning. Thank you to all those that have donated devices some child will be very grateful.

There is a huge need so we still need more laptops with minimum specs of windows 7, 4GB ram, We**am, Power Adaptor and are in working condition. C2 IT Asset Disposal will destroy you data and issue data destruction certificates, clean and reinstall the laptops. If you have laptops to donate please Private Message us.

Another 15 laptops cleaned, installed and wrapped ready for delivery to Epsom and Ewell FoodBank so they can be donated to a schoolchild that does not have one.

Donate your Unused Laptops

15% of schoolchildren do not have a suitable device to take part in remote schooling during the countries lockdown.

The pandemic has highlighted how big the digital divide is in our communities. The reality is every school child needs a laptop even after the National Lockdown is over or they simply get left behind.

C2KIT Computer Supplies have been working hard in partnership with Epsom and Ewell Foodbank to retrieve unused laptops from the general public and businesses, destroying the data in accordance with GDPR using NIST 800-88r1 standards and issuing Data Destruction Certificates. We then have them donated to schools for distribution to children that so desperately need them.

We feel very strongly that every child should have access to education and we are so happy to do our part.
