What Jobs Can I Do With a Bachelor’s Degree?
A Bachelor’s degree has shifted from being a “golden ticket” to a “minimum requirement” for the professional middle class. While 60% of employers are maintaining their current hiring levels, the market is increasingly split between high-growth STEM sectors and a more stagnant market for generalist roles. It shows now that, “AI Fluency” has become the new “Microsoft Office,” a skill expected of every degree holder regardless of their major.
However, for many HR departments and AI-driven automated hiring systems, a degree acts as a "first filter." It signals to an employer that you can commit to a four-year challenge, manage complex deadlines, and handle the "administrative burden" of professional life. It essentially de-risks you as a candidate in the eyes of a hiring manager.
