Did you know you can access different content on by changing your Netflix region? There are a few ways you can do this, such as with a or .

To change your Netflix region with a VPN, download and install a VPN app, connect to a server in the country you want to watch from, and open up Netflix.

Netflix blocks many VPNs, though, so use one that 100% works. We found that ExpressVPN, Privatevpn.com, and Proton VPN all work well with Netflix, while Windscribe unblocks the most regions.

You can also use a Smart DNS service to change your Netflix region, though this won't encrypt your traffic. Two popular services are Smart DNS Proxy and Unlocator.

China's Great Firewall blocks roughly 300,000 domains (including Facebook) as well as most VPN traffic. This makes it almost impossible to access the open Internet from China. Luckily, some VPNs can help you hop over the wall!

We tested dozens of VPNs and found Astrill VPN works the best in China. It amazingly bypassed the GFW 100% of the time we tested it in the last 12 months.

If Astrill isn't for you, Strong VPN is a good alternative. It's not as effective as Astrill but it still bypassed internet blocks 89% of the time.

If you want a free VPN for China, Windscribe is your best bet with an 85% success rate based on our tests. It's limited by a 10GB monthly data cap though.
