The Paper & Foil Studio started in 2025 when I realised a screenshot inside a birthday card didn’t give my husband’s 50th birthday gifts the moment they deserved. He had concert tickets, a festival, a comedy night, a London trip and a track day, amazing gifts, but the presentation felt flat. Something he could open. Something he could keep. Friends and family began asking where I’d bought them… I

hadn’t, I’d made them. And that’s how The Paper & Foil Studio was born. I now create foiled keepsake tickets, money wallets, scratch cards, personalised stationery and custom prints, all handmade, fully customisable and posted ready to gift. Less than a month ago, on my birthday, I set myself a goal of reaching 100 followers.

Today I’ve noticed we’ve hit 200! 🎉

There seems to have been a sudden influx in the last 24 hours and all I can say is thank you for the unexpected free advertising. 😂

Who knew marketing could come from such mysterious places…

Last week I shared that I’d been working on a brand new collection inspired by first homes, fresh starts and life’s special milestones.

Many of you helped me choose the name, and today I’m so excited to finally share the first piece with you.

Introducing New Beginnings.

The first range within my Timeless Collection.

The first piece to launch is this personalised Home Location Print, created to celebrate the places that become part of our story.

This collection became even more meaningful when our daughter recently collected the keys to her first home. Watching her start this exciting new chapter reminded me exactly why I wanted to create something like this in the first place.

🏡 I may have accidentally created an entire collection…

Yesterday our daughter got the keys to her first home 🔑✨

As excited as we are for her and her boyfriend, it also got me thinking about all the little moments that come with moving house.

The excitement.

The chaos.

The endless boxes.

The first takeaway sat on the floor because you can’t find the plates.

The first night in a place that’s finally yours.

As many of you know, most of my product ideas start with real life.

So whilst helping Keira prepare for this next chapter, I’ve found myself quietly working away in the studio on something new…

And I may have got a little carried away. 🤭

What started as one idea has somehow turned into an entire collection inspired by new homes, moving day memories and thoughtful keepsakes for life’s biggest milestones.

I’ve been designing, printing, foiling, testing and tweaking behind the scenes for weeks.

Some pieces are already finished.

Others are still spread across my craft desk in various stages of “it seemed like a good idea at the time.” 😂

I can’t share everything just yet, but the first collection launch is getting very close.

Well, today is a pretty big day 🏡✨

Our daughter and her boyfriend get the keys to their first home together today.

We’re incredibly excited for them as they start this new chapter, creating a home of their own, making memories and building their future together 🤎

But honestly… where have the last 21 years gone?

It doesn’t seem five minutes ago that we were doing the school run, listening to Peppa Pig on repeat and wondering if we’d ever get five minutes of peace 😂

Now she’s collecting the keys to her first home.

The actual move isn’t for a few more days, but today feels like the moment it all becomes real.

We’re not quite sure whether to be excited, emotional or start calculating how much extra cupboard space we’re about to have 🤣

One thing’s for certain though… we’re incredibly proud of them both and can’t wait to see what they do with their new home 🏡✨

Oh, and there’s someone in this house who is definitely not looking quite so happy about the situation 👀🐾

Charlie’s spidey senses are already tingling, and the full move isn’t even for a few days yet. I think he knows one of his favourite humans is about to leave home!
