The brief was clear - 'keep it simple, clean, and friendly, with everything visitors need right there, including an easy way to book the hall that was straightforward to manage and the website has to be supported by you'. We expect to get information quickly these days when we go looking for it. I know when I look for something I get frustrated when I have to dig about in a website for information 🤨

What do you expect from website? 🤔

When you visit a website, what makes you stay… or leave? For me I make up my mind whether to stay or go quickly 😳 but that’s just me, I’m impatient 😜

Is it:

• Clear easy to find information?
• Fast loading and mobile-friendly design?
• Easy ways to contact the business?
• Online booking or purchasing options?

Your website is not the most important part of your business BUT it is how people get to know you 😳

Before someone ever calls, emails, or DM’s you, they check you out online. They want to understand who you are, what you offer, and whether you’re right for them.

When I started my business (years ago) I wanted someone to talk my ideas through with as I found it all quite overwhelming at times 🤯

Don’t think you have to get everything done at once, getting each small step as close to right as possible each time is more important. ✅

Talking your ideas and plans through with a local business helps, especially talking to someone who’s done it all before 😳

Learn by their mistakes, save money and take notes 👍

Ask lots of questions, keep it clear and simple and keep going.
