Surveys are now live as a new task type on Unetwork. Availability varies by country, by user eligibility, and by the requirements of each individual survey, and the pool of opportunities changes constantly as new studies open and existing ones reach their participant limits. If you don't see a survey, that doesn't necessarily indicate a problem with your account β€” there may simply be nothing currently available that matches your location or eligibility.

To access survey tasks you need a Unetwork licence bound to your device, either owned outright or held under an active lease. Completion times range from a few minutes to around twenty, depending on the survey, and users can complete multiple surveys when eligible. Some surveys are an instant match; others begin with a short set of screening questions to determine whether you fit the audience required for that study. If a survey ends with "Not a match," that is normal β€” you won't receive a reward for it, but it doesn't count against you.

The first surveys offer full potential rewards of between 0.5 UP and 3.0 UP each. The app displays the full potential reward for every survey, and if your licence is leased you'll also see "Your share," calculated from the percentage split in your licence agreement: a survey offering 2.0 UP on a 50/50 split would show a potential share of 1.0 UP. Reward levels are not fixed and may vary by customer, survey type and requirements. The figures shown are a preview only; the final reward is calculated when the provider confirms completion, based on the lease active at that time.

Surveys differ from some other Unetwork tasks in one important respect: completing one does not immediately finalise the reward. After a successful completion the reward sits under Pending rewards while the survey provider reviews the submission, and if a submission fails the provider's validation the pending reward will not be credited.

Rewards for surveys completed in a given month are finalised on the last day of the following month, subject to successful validation. Depending on where in the month you complete a survey, a reward may therefore remain pending for up to roughly sixty days β€” a survey completed during August, for example, would be credited at the end of September once validated.

Surveys represent a new category of task on Unetwork. As more customers and use cases come on board, the same edge network of real devices in real locations can support a considerably broader range of commercial activity β€” another illustration of how the platform can keep expanding the types of work it supports.

🀝 Unetwork - S&R Full Beta Live

Scout & Runner is now live in full public Beta.

This marks a major milestone for Unetwork as Scout & Runner moves beyond ScoutQuest and staged access into the full Beta platform.

Scout & Runner is a third party opt-in task provided by ApexTelecom and hosted by Unetwork.

Both roles are now available:

β€’ Scout Role
β€’ Runner Role

Users can now access the platform and begin participating in the next phase of real-world telecom validation.

Scout & Runner brings real operators, real devices, and real mobile networks together to help verify carrier connectivity and strengthen telecom intelligence at global scale.

To access the platform:

β€’ Open the Tasks tab in the Unetwork app
β€’ Select Connectivity Verification
β€’ Enter the Scout & Runner Beta platform
β€’ Register for the Runner Role, or apply for one of the limited Scout seats available in your country

Please note: Scout & Runner remains in public Beta, so users may encounter minor bugs or flow adjustments as the platform is tested, refined, and scaled.

This is the next phase of S&R: broader access, deeper validation, and more real-world telecom intelligence flowing through the network.

Real devices. Real operators. Global verification.

🀝 Unetwork - New Build, New Task

Unetwork application update 1.2.1 is now available on Android via the Google Play Store and as a direct APK download.

This build introduces Entropy, a new first-party opt-in task now available in the Tasks tab.

Entropy allows attested Android devices to contribute high-quality randomness to a decentralized pool in the background. It is privacy-first, fully opt-in, and can be enabled or disabled at any time.

What’s new in build 1.2.1:

β€’ Entropy Contribution - a new opt-in task for Android and APK users
β€’ Improved connectivity to Unetwork trust services
β€’ Device readiness checks - when binding a license, the app now checks connectivity and attestation status before connecting to Proof of Work. Already bound? You can run the check manually anytime in Settings β†’ Check device readiness.
β€’ Clearer device readiness signals before PoW connection

Important:

β€’ Entropy is currently available on Android and APK only
β€’ The iOS version of build 1.2.1 is currently in review with Apple
β€’ Entropy will not be included in the iOS 1.2.1 build

To participate in ScoutQuest:
β€’ Registration for the Scout role is required to access ScoutQuest
β€’ Start submitting call plans in ScoutQuest and prepare for full Scout operations

ScoutQuest will remain open for the next 10 days.

Following the ScoutQuest period, the full Scout role will open, allowing Scouts to begin conducting live validation calls using approved plans generated during ScoutQuest.

Runner registration is now also available on the platform as part of the Beta rollout.

This release represents the next phase in expanding a globally distributed, people-powered telecom intelligence network built on real devices, real operators, and real-world validation.

Build the network. Shape the future.

Unity Network momentum is building! πŸ“ˆ

- CLI test volume is increasing fast as more customers onboard.
- They're also launching a next-gen telemetry platform (AI-powered, real-time data from real devices).

This means more commercial demand and stronger earning opportunities for people running licenses.

The network is growing β€” great time to get started.

I just received my first Caller ID Testing call and I received $0.20 for it. On your phone that would be $0.10 after the 50:50 split. You have 24 hours to submit the report. In the future, if you're getting a few calls each day, you can batch them up and the job will only take a few seconds. I'm very happy to see progress with this task. Many more to come.

21/04/2026

If you have Caller ID Testing and SMS Testing set up in the app, you may start getting test calls because the volume started increasing today. If you get a call you have 24 hours to submit the report. Rewards are about 5c-10c per report. Takes a few seconds to do.

Unity Network already operates one of the largest composable, people powered edge network on the planet with more than 40,000 devices online across 170+ countries in 1,500+ cities, performing Proof-of-Work and generating rewards.

The Unity Network Global Physical Compute Marketplace allows anyone - businesses, developers, AI agents - to post tasks that run on your devices. The same edge network that powers the network today will now serve demand from every industry that needs real devices in real locations.

If a company is launching an app in South Africa, they need to know what their users actually experience - not what a data centre simulation tells them. If someone is monitoring prices across 20 countries, they need real devices loading real pages. If they need to verify that something physically exists at a specific location, they need a real phone with real sensors in that place.

No VPN can fake this. No cloud server can replicate it. Only real devices in real hands in real locations - and that is exactly what Unity License Operators provide every single day.

How it works - a buyer posts a task to the marketplace and specifies where it needs to run - which countries, which carriers, how many devices. The Unity Network's gateway matches the task to available devices and dispatches it. Your device executes, returns the result, and you earn rewards. The entire cycle takes seconds.

Three ways buyers access the network:

- Marketplace website - for non-technical users who want to point and click
- API - for developers building Unity Network's functionality into their own platforms
- MCP - for AI agents that autonomously dispatch tasks to non synthetic devices

What this means for operators:

More demand flowing through the network means more tasks, which means more reward potential. Higher value tasks earn proportionally higher rewards. The more consistently your device is online, the higher your reputation score, and the more premium work you receive.

Keep your device online. Keep your app updated. More details on specific task categories coming in future announcements.

Scout and Runner task will enter Beta next week. We expect it to be available on Tuesday 22nd April ... stay tuned!
