Every month I’ve been trying to launch my Birth Flowers a little earlier than the night before the month begins, and finally almost 8 months in I’ve achieved 3 days earlier!! It might not be perfectly timed, but like nature, these things cannot be rushed.
Gladiolus and Poppy are August’s two birth flowers. Gladiolus for strength, integrity and passionate love that can pierce the heart, a flower of courage and deep feelings.
Paired with one of the most delicate of flowers, with papery petals that speak of dreaminess, imagination and remembrance.
Together they reflect the spirit of those born in August, passionate and strong, yet full of deep feelings. People of both courage and creativity, who intensely love.
Like all my birth flower cards, each card is a sweet bouquet of the flowers that represent those born that month and the reserve, using the Victorian language of flowers, tells the story of the symbolism, and how they reflect the personalities of that month. Perfect for deep thinkers and nature living souls.
