64% of businesses considering SMS to communicate with customers or staff are trying it for the first time - so there's *massive* opportunity for growth in this "old-fashioned" channel.

That's not to say we don't see a future for WhatsApp as part of your communication strategy - just don't write off the tried and tested text message :)

Facebook wants to charge businesses to message users on WhatsApp. But most businesses are gravitating to SMS, and the trend is likely to stay that way.
