We are still waiting for inspection so we can have the middle room back up and running for more exciting workshops, but we need your help. As a community hub, we like to give back to those around us, and to keep doing so, we need help to raise funds to tackle the repairs.

If you feel so inclined to help, come in and take a quacker guess at what our duck should be named (£1 per entry),
and get your younguns filling a page of colour for a chance to win a £10 voucher to spend with us.
(50p entry, 2 winners, 1 for age 7 and under, 1 for age 7-12)

And for a final burst of a chance to win, enter our raffle at £1 a strip.

We’re looking for ONE group of 4 young people, aged 15–17, to join us for a one-off work experience session on a Sunday in September.

A mix of lads and girls would be great!

⏰ 11am–2pm

This isn’t going to be standing around watching us "work"

You’ll get hands on experience of how we operate

🍔 Learn how we make our burgers
👨‍🍳 Prepare and make real customer orders
🙋 Serve members of the public
📦 Learn how we operates
📚 Complete a Enrty Catering course with a Accredited Course Certificate

We’ll actually OPEN FOR SERVICE during the session, but keep it controlled — around 8 live orders — so everyone gets the chance to make and serve food properly.

💰 Any profit made from those orders will be split between the 4 young people. We won’t take it.

WHY ARE WE DOING IT?

Because getting your first bit of work experience can be difficult when you’re young.

We want to make it a fun few hours while passing on some of the experience we’ve picked up over the last 6 years — from pop-ups and events, food halls and Manchester Christmas Markets, to the few years we spent trading in Liverpool.

Our Juke Burger was even featured by The Guide Liverpool in its “18 Boss Burgers You Need to Try in Liverpool” 👀🍔

Repeat after me: OUCH!

This is the cost of just some of what we have lost, some things weren't lost but definitely are on their last legs or arent worth the risk of using as we arent sure of the damage so preemptively went into the bin because safety is priority!

We can cover some of it, thats no issue and hoping we may be able to claim from insurers, whether ours or landlords is another matter.

We will rebuild and be back on our feet as soon as able ❤️

Call for help please 🙏 🙂
Hello everyone

Following Yesterday's water damage and todays continuing heavy rain we are still trying our hardest to save as much as we can, Unfortunately we are struggling to get hold of any plastice box's small, medium and large to help store what we have left of our crafting supplies. If anyone is able to lend any clear box's to help during this difficult time we would be extremely grateful.We will place a name and contact on each box so that we can return to you.Thank you all so much for your continued support during this difficult time.

STORM UPDATE:

6 bin bags have had to go, im not convinced that's all of it either.

The rain entered through the roof and down to us. The electrics have been checked. The shop front is okay, the main back area that's occupied is okay.

The middle, is not okay, we have lost quite a lot, we cannot use the electrics in there which means ultimately we are unable to offer workshops at this time.

If you are popping in, please be gentle with us, there will be ongoing works to get us back up and running fully. With the electrics unusable its likely we cannot use this space for a while 😞

⚠️⚠️⚠️ATTENTION⚠️⚠️⚠️

Todays workshop has had to be CANCELLED.

Last nights storm has got us, it has leaked directly onto the table that was set up for today's event, all opened supplies has had to go in the bin (mainly the elastics)

We will rerun this workshop at a later date. Im so sorry.

Currently our doors arent open until we get electrician in to check our lights, and someone to check the building integrity.

If anyone knows either - please send them our way ASAP. Closed small business = no income.

I hope you fared better than we did :( 😭
