"What should I consider when quoting a project and choosing a mounting solution?"

Great question. And one that can save a lot of headaches later on.

Before recommending a mount, try answering:
Where is it being installed?
Meeting room? Classroom? Retail space? Different environments have different requirements.
What is its purpose? Who/how will be using it?
Will the display stay fixed, or does it need to move, tilt or adjust for different users?
What sort of display do they want?
LCD, LED, Projection? Size, weight and VESA pattern are the obvious starting points.
How will you maintain it? Do you need a solution with storage or easy access?
Think beyond installation. Future access for servicing can save hours of work (and plenty of frustration).
Does any other device need to be mounted?
Soundbars, cameras, media players and cable management all need considering from the start.

The best mounting solution isn't always the most expensive or the most complicated, it's the one that best fits the application.

"My client wants the cheapest mount available. How do I explain why that's not always the best option?"
