🖌️ The Hidden Cost of AI-Generated Images 🖌️

As AI technology continues to grow, so does its impact on artists and the creative community. Generative AI images might look impressive, but they often come at a cost to the human creators behind the art we love. From lack of consent in using artists' work for training data to driving down the value of authentic, hand-crafted art, AI is reshaping the creative landscape in ways that aren’t always fair to artists.

For many of us, art is more than just visuals — it’s our passion, our voice of expressing, and in many cases, it's our livelihood.

It's time to start questioning AI 'artists', who are essentially creating spam, and it's time to choose to support original creators instead.

Meta has to take responsibility for the activities taking place on their platform - enforce mandatory AI labelling, allow is to report content evading AI labelling, and allow us to filter AI content out of our feeds and suggestions.

Having open conversations about what this tech means for the future of creativity is so essential. The artistic process deserves protection, and artists deserve respect. 💪🎨

🎨 Meet the Merchant! 🎨

Here he is, a jolly medieval merchant brimming with character right in front of his bustling shop! 🏚️🍂 Creating this piece was all about capturing the warmth and vibrancy of his world — from his expression to the charm of his weathered shop.

It was a fun challenge to bring both the merchant and his shop to life with a shared colour palette, tying the two pieces together. Here’s to stepping into new scenes and giving characters a world they can truly belong to!

The way in which fantastical art is inextricably intertwined with such graceful game mechanics is honestly a wonder! One of the greatest games ever invented, and celebrates done of the greatest to ever pick up a brush (or stylus!).

A big thank you too, to tabletop store for rapidly uniting me with one of the wildest cards a lonely mono-blue player can ever hope to ruin people's fun with.....

🏰 Pushing Boundaries with New Horizons 🏰

Tackling something completely new has always felt daunting, especially when it comes to drawing structures and places! Buildings were uncharted territory, and I wasn’t quite sure where to begin. So, I decided to pick up an old sketch of a medieval merchant and not only bring him to life but explore where he might set up shop. What does his world even look like? After a couple of evenings of diving in, I’ve surfaced with a tale on a medieval merchant building! 🏚️✨

To tie it all together, I’m working with a shared colour palette between the merchant himself and his building. What do you all think?

WIP for the ultimate undead token pack. 🧟‍♂️🎨

Wraiths are a dark and malefic energy made manifest. Upon the death of a particularly evil individual, or when a soul is finally claimed as the cost of a dark pact - a wraith is born into the world. This entity is bereft of a physical form, allowing it to traverse the physical world with no regard for obstacles such as walls, or fortifications - making it a fearsome thing to face.
