📚 New school rules are coming into force across England from September 2026.

From attendance and allergy safety to school uniforms, free school meals and mobile phones, several changes could affect pupils and families during the new school year.

The key changes include:

1. Attendance targets for schools

2. Stronger allergy safety measures

3. Limits on branded school uniform items

4. Expanded eligibility for free school meals

5. Restrictions on mobile phone use during the school day

Some of these changes could make a noticeable difference to both school life and household costs.

Today, we had the honour and great pleasure of being welcomed into the home of two truly remarkable people, Lita and Kev.

Kev is the guitarist for DRESSED TO KILL - The KISS tribute band and Unkissed - The Unmasked KISS Tribute , as well as being involved in other well-known music projects across the UK. However, beyond the music and the stage, both he and Lita are genuine, positive, creative and honest people, the kind of people we rarely meet and can truly look up to.

They supported Mihai and his Mihai's 50 Mile Challenge for Andrei from the very first day, without expecting anything in return, and they continued to stand by us even after the challenge ended. Their kindness and support have meant more to our family than any words

We feel privileged to know you and proud to call you true friends. Thank you, Lita and Kev, for such a wonderful time and for everything you have done for us.

And thank you so much for the T-shirts, they are absolutely fantastic! ❤️

Because many people asked me after my previous post, here is how to book your blood donation.

Want to help save lives but not sure how to donate blood? It is easier than you may think.

1. Download the NHS Give Blood app from the App Store or Google Play
2. Create your account
3. Choose the venue, date and time that suit you.

The app keeps you updated and sends appointment reminders, so you will not miss your donation.

In Rugeley, donations are usually held at Lea Hall Social Club, Sandy Lane, Rugeley, WS15 2LB.
