GMT Collection Prime Receives Another International Award

The Prime Meridian turntable, part of the acclaimed GMT Collection, has received another prestigious industry award, this time courtesy of HIFIStatement and HighFidelity.pl.

The award follows the review of the Prime Meridian by Dirk Sommer, in which the turntable’s engineering, performance, and innovative design philosophy were explored in depth.

The award was formally presented to Wilson Benesch during HIGH END Vienna 2026 by Wojciech Pacuła and Dirk Sommer.

Pictured with the award is the new Greenwich Turntable, which is making its European debut at HIGH END Vienna this weekend. The latest addition to the GMT Collection, Greenwich brings the core technologies and engineering principles of the Prime Meridian and GMT® One to a wider audience, while maintaining the performance-driven design philosophy that defines Wilson Benesch analogue replay systems.

This latest accolade further reinforces the international recognition being awarded to the GMT Collection and Wilson Benesch’s continuing commitment to advancing the state of the art in analogue replay.

We are delighted to announce that the new Greenwich Turntable will receive its first global preview at Audio Show Deluxe, 21–22 March 2026 at Whittlebury Park, Silverstone.

Greenwich establishes the entry point into the Wilson Benesch GMT® analogue architecture, built around the same ALPHA–OMEGA drive platform that underpins the Prime Meridian and GMT® One turntables.

At the show we will present Greenwich within a reference Wilson Benesch system, featuring the Resolution 3zero loudspeaker supported by multiple IGx Infrasonic Generators, driven by Trilogy Audio Systems electronics and partnered with the HSE Masterline 7 phono preamplifier.

Visitors will be able to experience the new turntable platform for the first time and learn more about the OMEGA Direct Drive technology that forms the foundation of the GMT® Collection.
