2020 has been quite the year, hasn't it?! Nit surprisingly, I've not been particularly creative this year and wasnt planning on doing Christmas plates but several of you lovely lot contacted me to place orders recently, so I thought, sod it, it's (nearly) Christmas so have decided to work on a small batch 🤗

'Dinner Plate' size, plates can be personalised with any name/s detail - you just choose a snowflake, present or star design. There's space for Father Christmas's Drink and Mince Pie and a space for Rudolph's Carrot too.

I paint everything by hand with ceramic paint that's dishwasher & Microwave safe, then they are fired to seal and protect the artwork.
£12 each. Plates can be posted for an additional £3.

Earlier this year I was lucky enough to work on a wedding chalkboard for the lovely Lydia & Connor. Being Friends fans, they were keen to have a themed chalkboard to welcome guests and to also keep as a memory of their special day. I wont lie, I was very nervous about the font as it's so famous, I knew it needed to be spot on to be recognisable. I was pretty pleased with the result though 👍

I'm ashamed to say its been over 8 months since I last posted anything on here 🙈
Yes, that sodding Covid-19 had a lot to do with it but I've also been terribly un-creative these last few months.
So, I'll be sharing images of some past chalkboard projects and some projects I worked on earlier this year over the next few days. Mainly to make me feel better about myself but to also show that I can get my 'creative on' when I want to. And I do want to, 'cos I miss it! Appreciate weddings are a bit on the scarce side atm but I love a challenge, so get in touch if you're in the market for any present or creative ideas for the home.

Realised I’ve not posted for a while so thought I’d share a recent chalkboard commission I worked for a local community project.

They wanted a chalkboard board to detail daily activities so I designed a bespoke board to fit into an unusual alcove behind their welcome desk.

It was great to have an opportunity to work on something a bit different and I really enjoyed working to replicate their distinctive logo by hand - it took me back to my graphic design and typography days at Uni!
