You’re frustrated, fed up, and putting off the one thing that could genuinely help level up your business.

It’s nearly summer. You’ve got the client work. You know your business is GOOD. But you also know your branding no longer reflects the level you’re operating at.

You want to attract those high-ticket, dream clients - the ones that completely change your business - but every time you go to market yourself, something feels off. Because the truth is… you’re still using the branding you created 3 years ago when you were just trying to get your business off the ground.

The problem is, you’re not a designer. And honestly, you don’t know where to start (or even have the will power too start)

People tell you to “just use Canva” or throw everything into AI, but deep down you know that isn’t the solution. You don’t have the time to figure it all out yourself, and branding is too important to become another half-finished task sitting on your to-do list for months.

So instead, you keep hiding. Avoiding posting online. Avoiding marketing properly. Avoiding sending people to your website. Brushing it off with “I’m actually in the middle of updating everything…” even though you haven’t started yet.

Then you find someone who gets it. Not just a designer, but someone who values the process just as much as the final result. Someone who guides you through every step, answers your questions, challenges your ideas when needed, and helps you create a brand that finally feels like YOU.

The relief kicks in. You stop second-guessing yourself. You feel excited to show up online again. You finally have branding that matches the business you’ve grown into.

Now all that’s left to do is put yourself out there and own it.

If you’re ready to stop hiding behind an outdated brand - or even if you just want to explore what’s possible - DM me “SUMMER” and let’s chat.

I have been a bit rubbish on here the last couple of weeks, so I thought I would do a little recap.

Sometimes, running a business, having two young children, and all the other stuff that comes with a house, friends, family etc etc means priorities have to shift. Its been half term, which means the week before is busy, the week of is wild, as is the week after.

I am still here, and I am working on some incredible new brands with my clients (one of which goes live VERY soon eek) just not putting the pressure on myself to also show up on here!

If I can help you with design, branding or a website then drop me a message, my inbox is open!

Gosh, I love May, and I don't know if you can tell, but I am getting so ready for the long days and warmer weather that comes with the 'almost Summer' month.

Playing with fonts started as a bit of a way to make more content for the gram, but I honestly enjoy this experimentation so much it's here to stay. AND it's proved so valuable in helping me get out of my comfort zone and find new and exciting fonts for my projects.

I have even had clients reference fonts from these posts for projects. Anyway, why am I telling you this? I'm not really sure, but it feels quite cathartic writing out these captions and not relying on chatGPT to come along and f**k them up for me. I am pretty good at doing that myself.

Christ, I should stop now. Anyway, enjoy!

I am not sure which one offends me more - an ugly wine glass or those AI posters that seem to be literally EVERYWHERE at the moment (I mean they're bloody awful, aren't they?!)

Anyway, enjoy, and I would love to know yours!

Brand reveal for The Actors Lounge 🎬

A brand identity designed to feel confident, considered and built to last.

The logo direction was inspired by the client’s love of the Enso circle - a symbol of creativity, flow and presence. We refined this into a bold circular mark that feels strong, simple and highly versatile, working beautifully as both part of the logo and as a standalone brand element.

Typography is clean, intentional and timeless. The stacked TAL has been emphasised to create clear hierarchy and bring focus to the brand initials.

The colour palette centres around a rich, warm maroon tone that adds depth and sophistication while keeping the identity grounded and elegant.

The result is a brand that feels polished, creative and ready to grow - just like the talent it represents.

Loved bringing this vision to life. What do you think of the new look?

Bold colours are back, baby!

Easter is out of the way, and we can almost taste the iced lattes and warm summer breeze - ok this might be a little premature, but I am imagining it as we speak.

I love a contrasting colour palette and it seems grey and beige? Out. Bold, mood-boosting palettes? In! Whether it's for your wardrobe or your walls, it's time to say goodbye to dull vibes and hello to vibrant hues. From dopamine dressing to daring home decor, bright shades are stealing the spotlight and we're loving every second of it.

I saw someone share a photo of the 'Mrs Hinch' grey living room everyone once desired and it shocked me how utterly boring it feels now (thank f**k that era is over - no offence to Mrs H)

So here are some of my favourite bold colour palettes to inspire your next project - which one is your favourite?

From our collaboration in London over a decade ago (wow, time flies!) to now working together in our own ventures - this truly feels like a full-circle moment.

Partnering with Nic has been an absolute delight! Last time we teamed up, I was part of a design team; now, as the head of my own studio, her insights carry even greater weight. Back then, I was immersed in a sea of Salespeople, Project Managers, Copywriters, Developers, and robust processes designed to keep the creative flow going. Now, I'm juggling those roles myself, making her feedback invaluable!

If you're seeking a designer who values the process as much as the final product (well, almost), look no further! I have availability in May - DM me to secure your spot!
