It’s the first Friday of August, and that means it’s International Beer Day, and Kirk didn’t need an excuse to crack open a cold can of Docks Beers in the studio to celebrate! 🍻

Our wall of cans (built with a bit of Alex’s 3D printing magic) shows just a few of the weird and wonderful can designs we’ve enjoyed creating for local breweries over the years, and it’s always expanding!

How do you explain digital marketing to a room full of students in 30 minutes? No pressure then.

When Franklin Sixth Form College invited us to their Digital Conference, we jumped at it. Rob and Alison ran workshops with Year 9, Year 10 and sixth form students from Healing Academy, Whitgift Academy and Franklin, challenging them to figure out why a fictitious brand's marketing spend wasn't delivering.

They dug into the data, thought about the audience, and came up with some genuinely brilliant ideas. One careers lead even called it inspirational. We'll take that.

We work with brands across the UK, but investing in young people closer to home will always matter to us.

How we increased leads for a Grimsby engineering firm.

When Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway wanted two craft beers to call their own, for sale at their popular Signal Box Inn, they came to Sourcefour on a recommendation and our experience in working with breweries.

Two beers dedicated to two of their much-loved locomotives, and a brief that deserved something more than just a photo slapped on a label. Our Creative Director Kirk illustrated both trains onto familiar Cleethorpes backdrops, taking inspiration from art deco era train illustrations.

The result is two beer labels rooted in the heritage of a railway that's been part of Cleethorpes since 1948, and beers well worth travelling for.

Today, the UK raises a glass for National Beer Day - and we're joining in with good reason.

Over the years, we've had the pleasure of working with some brilliant craft breweries, helping them build brands that look as good as their beer tastes. Creative can artwork for core ranges, limited brews and collabs. From logo designs to packaging, websites and full marketing strategies, brewery work is some of our favourite work.

The craft beer world is crowded, which means standing out on a shelf or a pump clip matters more than ever, and that's where we come in.

Today is World Donkey Day. Who knew? 🫏

Apparently Alex, our Development Director did, as he rocked up this morning in this fetching donkey outfit (we didn’t ask why he had it 😳).

In recognition of his efforts and in celebration of our four-hooved friends, we will be donating to a donkey Sanctuary.

World Donkey Day celebrates the vital contributions of donkeys to agriculture, transportation, and communities worldwide. And, with Cleethorpes beach only down the road, it seems doubly fitting to acknowledge the iconic role our beach donkeys have in the British seaside experience.
