Starting this month, all cPanel accounts include Site Quality Monitoring as standard. This combines tools that Monitor, Analyse, and Optimize Your Websites in one easy to use dashboard. In addition to this, receive automated downtime & performance alerts directly to your inbox.

Incident update: Services have returned to normal. We have identified the source of the issue as a DDoS attack against a single client whereby we are currently successfully mitigating the attack. We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day, but currently all services have returned to normal.

Incident Report: We are currently investigating a suspected DDoS attack affecting DNS resolution and web traffic to one of our Clusters. We are working with our upstream providers where a mitigation profile is being activated as we write.

We are currently aware of a problem affecting some clients, the cause has been isolated as a DDoS attack, we are currently working with our upstream providers to mitigate the issue.

Incident Update: The majority of email accounts have now been reinstated but as a matter of caution all passwords have been changed. To receive your new passwords along with guidance on how to set up your new accounts please email [email protected] using an alternative email address and also supply a mobile number to be used for receiving your new passwords.

Incident Report: We are currently experiencing email problems with one of our email servers. Engineers are working to reinstate the accounts through the night. We urge all clients to backup their current inbox/email accounts locally to PST (Outlook) or mbox (Mac mail) to avoid any issues once service is reinstated.

Engineers are working hard to resume services. Currently servers for effected clients are being restored from backup. While this will take some time, please bare with us.

Incident Report:

We are aware of an issue affecting some clients in the London Docklands Data Centre.

Engineers are on site and working to resolve the issue.

Incident resolved: 18:49, All services have returned to normal. A full report will be available on our website in due course, but the issue affected mainly our DNS servers and a small number of client servers. A power cable feeding one of our racks tripped it's RCD Breaker, but the resulting spike also resulted in a second redundant breaker also tripping. Because of the potentially dangerous and unknown nature of the fault a full testing procedure had to completed before the power could be restored, adding regrettable additional downtime. We apologise for the inconvenience caused, but it has identified one specific area with regards to our DNS infrastructure that needs improving and we will be commencing work to address that in the coming weeks.

Engineers have located the issue as a power fault to a core rack. They continue to resolve the issue with the assistance of the datacentre facilities team.
