Spent a busy weekend bringing this beast of a machine back to life for a highly valued customer! 🛠️
Pictured above is an Edgebander, a crucial piece of equipment used for high-end furniture finishing.
🚨 The Problem: The main control unit refused to boot and eventually went completely dead.
💡 The (Almost) Solution: After some deep component-level diagnostics, we identified and replaced the burnt-out components on the board. We’ve successfully resurrected the hardware and can access a base OS!
We are currently awaiting the manufacturer to send over the correct restore media to get the proprietary software loaded and return this machine to 100% production capacity. Always love a good troubleshooting challenge!

⚡ Another Xbox Series X Back From the Dead! ⚡
This Xbox Series X came into the shop completely dead with a no power fault.
After tearing it down and running diagnostics, we traced the issue directly to the southbridge daughter board. A few components had gone short-circuit, shutting the whole console down.
Here’s how we got it fixed up:
🛠️ Micro-soldering repair: Carefully removed and replaced the shorted components on the board.
🧹 Full service: Deep cleaned internal components and refreshed the thermal interface to keep it running cool and quiet.

I just finished fixing up this MacBook Air M2 for a valued customer. It came in with an unresponsive trackpad, but we quickly got to the bottom of it!
Here is what it took to get it running like new:
💧 Cleaned up internal liquid damage.
⚙️ Replaced the flex cable and a few components on the trackpad daughter board.
⌨️ Deep-cleaned all the sticky, "crunchy" keys on the keyboard.
The best part? It’s now fully functional and was back in the customer's hands in under 24 hours! ⏱️

MacBook Pro M1 Pro (A2442) – No Power Repair 🔧

This MacBook came in completely dead, only pulling 5V at just 0.002A from the charger, which usually means the machine isn’t negotiating proper power and something on the board is holding it back.

After board-level diagnostics, we tracked the issue down to a short on the keyboard backlight circuit. Once the short was located and repaired, the machine negotiated power correctly and is now fully working again.

Another board-level repair completed and another MacBook saved from the scrap pile.
