Episode 2 of the Talking Fingers series is here: “THE RACE.”
At the beginning, the fingers are racing against each other.
Everyone wants to win. Everyone wants to be first.
Eventually, someone does win.
But the moment they stop… they realize something important.
The race was never the real challenge.
Standing in front of them is a giant wooden barrier with one word written on it: POVERTY.
One finger tries to push it away alone… and fails.
That’s when the realization happens.
The problem was never each other.
The real fight was always the obstacle in front of everyone.
So they try again — this time together.
And together, they move the barrier out of the way.
The lesson:
Sometimes we compete with each other so much that we forget the real problem we’re supposed to solve.
The fight is not against each other.
The real fight is against poverty.
As a creative director and storyteller, I’m fascinated by how simple visual stories can reveal deeper truths about teamwork, society, and the challenges we share.
That’s the idea behind the Talking Fingers series — simple stories with meaningful lessons that teams, organizations, and even children can understand.

In your experience, do teams struggle more with internal competition… or with the real problem in front of them?
