Hello to all,
my name is Harald Glab-Plhak, and I am a passionate software developer , architect and tester as well as test manager with 30+ years experience in my profession. My way started with studying computer science at the Akademie für Datenverarbeitung in Böblingen – here we worked with IBM-Mainframes and with programing languages and technologies like PL/1, Assembler 370 und DB2. REXX JCL and more.
Since that time I worked in many different areas of computer science for example:
💻 banging software: interpreter design and development, a debugger and a compile and run during runtime. I also worked in the DB2 project internal for the IBM TorroLab.
🌍 processing and storing of natural languages: The system had the algorithms for automated translation and the formula stored with each word ithis were the early days of AI in working with nat. Languages.
🚀 I was busy for almost 23 years in ECM : 20+ years as developer, test-manager architect and module responsible – among other things with the development of a CI/CD
pipeline, which fulfilled the actual standards before they were born.
I worked during my job with over 20 programing languages and scripting languages, with many of the usual relational database systems with DDL, SQL, I also worked with many application servers and cloud-based technologies – I love it to get challanged and to learn new things especially in a team or with a team. My wide spreaded knowledge and experience and all times looking out for new interesting things on my job, my flexibility and straight solution oriented manner will bring your team I work with on a higher level.

I am reaching out for a new professional challenge and for a opportunity to learn mor than up to now – no matter if the work is remote or if in Ireland onsite any EU country or any country in the united kingdom. I’m not only arriving with a big pack of technical and theoretical as well as process oriented know how, I come with passion and with an optimistic manner.

mein Name ist Harald Glab-Plhak, und ich bin leidenschaftlicher Softwareentwickler, Architekt und Tester mit über 30 Jahren Erfahrung in der IT-Branche. Mein Weg begann 1989 mit einem Studium der Computerwissenschaften an der Akademie für Datenverarbeitung in Böblingen – auf IBM-Mainframes und mit Technologien wie PL/1, Assembler 370 und DB2.
Seitdem habe ich in verschiedenen Bereichen gearbeitet, darunter:

🚀 Enterprise Content Management (ECM): 20+ Jahre als Entwickler, Test-Manager und Architekt – u. a. mit der Entwicklung einer CI/CD-Pipeline, die heutige Standards wie Docker und Jenkins vorwegnahm.
Ich habe mit über 20 Programmiersprachen, vielen Datenbanksystemen, Applikationsservern und Cloud-Technologien gearbeitet – und ich liebe es, Neues zu lernen und umzusetzen. Mein breites Wissen und meine Neugier ermöglichen es mir, flexibel und lösungsorientiert zu arbeiten.

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einer neuen beruflichen Herausforderung – remote oder vor Ort in der EU oder UK. Ich bringe nicht nur technisches Know-how, sondern auch Begeisterung, Zuverlässigkeit und Teamgeist mit.
