RoutineRoo is nearly here 💛

We're patiently waiting on our app store approvals (eeekk!!), and while we wait, here’s a little sneak peek…

So many of the tricky moments in our homes aren’t really about the routine not working… they’re about how our children are feeling.

That’s why we’ve built in emotional zones:

- to help little ones recognise and talk about their feelings
- to support parents in managing those big emotions

Less overwhelm and more understanding from everyone.

Join the waitlist and we’ll let you know as soon as we launch ✨

Kids feel calmer when things feel predictable - and that’s exactly what RoutineRoo is designed to support.

We’re getting ready to launch (just waiting on app store approval 👀), but here’s why visual routines work so well:

They help little ones understand what's coming next by showing them! Which means less resistance and importantly more independence.

Small shifts, really can make a big difference.

For early access when we go live, you can join the waitlist - we’ll send everything straight to you! https://www.routineroo.com/bedtime-earlyaccess

Have you ever introduced a new bedtime routine and suddenly everything got worse?

More tears. More delays. More "just one more story..."

It can feel like all your hard work is backfiring. But what if it wasn't?

What if your child was actually showing one of the most common signs of behaviour change?

It's called an extinction burst - when a behaviour temporarily gets more intense before it starts to fade.

The 3 biggest signs are:
🚩 The behaviour gets bigger
🚩 It lasts longer
🚩 Old behaviours come back

The good news? It often means your child is testing whether the old pattern still works.

Consistency can feel incredibly difficult during this phase, but understanding what's happening can make those tough evenings feel a little less overwhelming.

We've created a free guide on this, you can check it out here: https://www.routineroo.com/news/extinctionburstsatbedtime

If June taught us anything… it’s that startup life is equal parts incredible and chaotic 😅

This month we:
💫 Spoke at events that left us inspired
✂️ Stayed up until 1am fixing QR code disasters (of course)
🌍 Met people in real life we’d only ever known online
🎤 Shared our journey on stage
🚀 Introduced new app features designed to make routines easier
🏡 Put RoutineRoo into real homes for the very first time

And through it all… we’re constantly reminded why we’re doing this.

To make daily routines feel a little easier, calmer, and more manageable for families 💛

We’ve been a little quiet on here… and honestly, it’s just been a hectic month - or two!

Behind the scenes, it has been and is all go!
A mix of building, testing, learning (sometimes the hard way 😅), and trying to juggle it all alongside real life.

So let's bring you up to speed with a little recap of what we got up to in May while we try to get back in the swing of regular communications again.

We’re getting closer to bringing RoutineRoo to life in a way that actually helps families - we currently have a pilot group actually testing our app right now - and that’s what matters most.

Thanks for sticking with us while we figure it all out 💛

Start with 2–3 stickers.
Let them win quickly. Learn the system. Feel proud.
Then slowly stretch it.
This creates motivation instead of meltdown triggers.

Our charts come with an easy, parent‑friendly setup guide so you don’t have to figure out the system alone.

Did you find yourself calling out “be good!” as your child walked into school this morning?
You’re not alone - I’ve done it too ❤️

But the truth is, most kids don’t actually understand what “be good” means. It’s vague, and that can lead to confusion (and a lot of repeated reminders later on).

What really helps is giving them clear, specific behaviours they can recognise and achieve, like:
• Hanging up your coat
• Listen to your teacher
• Use kind words

When expectations are clear, kids are far more likely to succeed, and feel proud of themselves for it.

That’s exactly why we created our charts: to make behavioural expectations simpler, clearer, and a lot less stressful for everyone.

If those vague expectations are making your days harder than they need to be, you can check them out here: https://www.routineroo.com/personalised-reward-sticker-charts 💛
