1. Business Analyst
BA specializes in understanding the functional aspect of the project and is usually closer to the stake holders. BA is also be responsible in understanding the data and coordination among team members. BA is one of the most strong pillar of the project.
2. Data Analyst
DA specializes in interpreting & making a story with the data through reports, dashboards and visualizations. A good DA should also handle data modelling & data cleaning. Data visualization experts falls under the same category. They work closely with Data Engineer to get the data source location and let them know in case of any Data Transformation.
3. Data Engineer
DE works on setting up technology to manage data from different sources (cloud, flat files, on-premise etc.). They bring data together and make process faster. They are also responsible for data modelling and transformation. They ensure that data services are always up and secured
4. Data Scientist
DS specialized in applying advance analytics capabilities to the data set. They may work upon deep learning, predictive analysis, descriptive analysis, forecast models etc.
5. Database Administrator
Database Administrator specializes in managing overall security of the data and , granting and restricting user access and privileges to the data as determined by business needs and requirements. They work with stakeholders to identify and implement the policies, tools, and processes for data backup and recovery plans.
