I’ll probably never do this again, but I’m glad I did it once.
When asked me to join the .in team for the launch at '26 , by .economic.forum, everything happened fast. Content strategy, ex*****on, launch, it was a whirlwind I wasn’t prepared for.
For once, I wasn’t in the audience taking notes at founder sessions. I was at a booth, talking to parents and kids. And honestly? I loved it more than I expected to.
There’s something about real conversations that no amount of research or data can replace. Parents telling you exactly why they worry about their child’s screen time. Kids showing you what actually excites them about learning. And the best part? Watching everyone’s inner child come alive, the fights over who won, the cheering, the competition.
One parent said: “I think I’m gonna love this more than my two kids.”
And that’s when I knew we had something real.
I missed every single founder session that day, sessions I would’ve loved. But I didn’t feel like I missed out. Because while everyone else was inside learning about building products, I was outside learning from the people we’re building for.
This experience reminded me that behind every product, every strategy, every piece of content, there are real people with real problems. And sometimes the best thing you can do is put down the frameworks and just talk to them.
Worth it.
Thank you & .in team🤍
