Wearing a CGM again this month, not because anything's wrong, but because the data still teaches me things.

Yesterday I learned that the dates I thought were "innocent" spiked me to 168.

Whole foods aren't always neutral. Context matters. Combinations matter.

Lunch — and what I'd call a "metabolically friendly plate."

Protein (egg + daal), fiber (lentils + greens), slow carb (brown rice), no spike, no crash.

My patients with prediabetes don't need to eliminate carbs.

They need to build plates that don't ambush their blood sugar.

Big difference.
