In 2026, OS-CIT (Odisha State Certificate in Information Technology) is the state's premier IT literacy program, developed by Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited (OKCL) and certified by Odisha State Open University (OSOU), Sambalpur. It is a mandatory or highly preferred qualification for various Odisha government and PSU recruitments. 

Duration: Typically 3 months (approx. 144 hours).

Advanced Options:

OS-CIT 'A': 6-month course combining basic IT with one Career Oriented Course (e.g., Tally).

OS-CIT 'A+': 12-month comprehensive program.

Eligibility: Anyone with a keen desire to learn; often recommended after Class 10th.

Languages: Available in English, Hindi, and Odia.
