One of Karnataka’s important storage dams was recently surveyed by Naksha Tech using advanced geospatial technologies, including thermal scanning and high-precision survey methods.

Why are such surveys important? Dams are critical assets that store and regulate water for millions of people. Thermal scanning helps identify potential seepage zones, moisture variations, structural anomalies, and areas requiring preventive maintenance, often before visible signs appear.

Combined with detailed survey data, it enables engineers and authorities to monitor dam health, improve safety, and support informed decision-making for long-term asset management.

As infrastructure ages and climate challenges increase, technology-driven dam assessments play a vital role in ensuring the safety, sustainability, and resilience of our water resources.

𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Naksha Tech successfully carried out terrestrial laser scanning at Mumbai City Complex, covering an area of 4,000 sq. m. The scan captured high-accuracy 3D data of the built environment, helping create a reliable digital record for documentation, planning, analysis, and future project requirements.

With terrestrial laser scanning, every detail of the space can be measured, visualized, and converted into actionable data, faster, safer, and with greater accuracy.
