²⁰²³⁰⁶¹² it's been a long time... this time PIE Custom Electronics is finally back!!! (for real, LOL)

One of the few development I had recently is to be able to modify some pedals to "True Bypass" in a mechanical form in which NO HOLES is required to install a 3PDT footswitch... How?

To do this I had to make use of a relay and a microcontroller design that is calibrated to act as if it were a True Bypass switch! Like in the images below, I used my TS9 reissue as a test unit and although I encountered few problems along the way, everything worked as planned...

2022-06-11, It's been a long time, and were slowly getting back with lots of new work.

For the first documentation build-repair, my very own Guyatone PS-012 8-band equalizer from the early 80's. I really like the the PSx series there's just this look that gives you the early electronics vibe with that silver alloy panel, what's more cool is that its fully analog. 🥺

current state, I received it with issues and found upon checking that 5 out of 9 slide trimmers are broken including the volume which means there's no sound. I removed the faulty part and should be an easy fix if I can find the exact replacement but hey if it doesn't work we'll find a way. progress will be posted at our IG➡️.custom.electronics

Part 1/3, It was a dead Boss DD-20 that I bought in a junk market for a project, I am risking a few bucks to make it work and use it for a project during winter.

○Troubleshoot shows that the DC-to-DC converter failed and needs replacement but it felt like the design of this is garbage and is meant to fail anyway so I remake it and change the whole section with better solution.

Each photo shows the process, enjoy as this is a series of work to be done for this project build.
