I've always wondered why so many of my friends, let alone my sister, fell in love with Japan. Last week, my year's worth of preparation, has finally come to an end. With the promise of visiting my sister (who lives and works happily in Japan), I didn't set any expectations on how this trip would be like. I did expect that my legs and feet are going to be sore after. After 123,295 steps, it did not disappoint.

A day has passed since I departed this beautiful country. And, all I have is that bittersweet feeling. A week is not enough, and the high of traveling from one city to another is too short. I, too, have fallen in love with the country, and I'm definitely going back. But, for now, all I have is this 3-min video, capturing our 6-day holiday trip to the land of the rising sun. :)

What makes Myanmar genuinely beautiful?

For a land that has recently opened itself to the world, I wasn't prepared to see its colorful culture preserved by time, and people enjoying life without too much technology.

I would never forget Myanmar because it qualifies for a spot in one's bucketlist. From the busy streets of Yangon, to the picturesque temples of Bagan, the golden hills of Sagaing, historical sites in Amarapura, the calm lakes of Inle, and to the mountain city of Taunggyi, let me share with you what makes Myanmar enchantingly beautiful.

I'm a huge fan of temples. There's always something about them that lures me into taking 1-2 weeks off from work just to see them. So after 3 years of planning, plus, with the support of , I've finally had the courage to go out of my comfort zone and explore this wonderful place. So happy to cross off another item in my bucketlist. :)
