Panda Sasa: Putting Data-Driven Farming Decisions in the Hands of Smallholder Farmers

Many smallholder farmers in Kenya struggle with deciding what to plant, which crop variety to use, or when to plant. At the same time, limited access to timely agricultural information can mean missing out on important support programs, training, and resources.

Jeremy Lubanga, a Full Stack Developer, is working to change that with Panda Sasa, a smart farming platform designed to give Kenyan farmers access to localized, timely, and actionable agricultural information.

Bringing Panda Sasa to life has been a collaborative effort. Jeremy works alongside fellow tech enthusiasts and like-minded innovators from EldoHub's Tech & AI Academy and beyond, combining different skills, perspectives, and expertise to turn the concept into a working solution.

This is what youth-led innovation looks like: young people building practical tools for the problems around them.
