Al can generate images. Graphic Designers create communication.

Al is an incredible tool. It can create stunning visuals in seconds.

But great design isn't just about making an image look good.

A Graphic Designer understands:

The target audience

Brand identity

Visual hierarchy

Typography & color psychology

Marketing objectives

User behavior

Problem-solving through design

Anyone can write a prompt.

But turning a business goal into visual communication that drives results is a different skill altogether.

Al isn't replacing Graphic Designers-it's becoming another tool in the hands of good designers.

ChatGPT Image Makers are not Graphic Designers.

What are your thoughts? Can Al replace the thinking behind great design, or is it simply changing the way designers work?

Really? I dare you to try.

THE AI BAR IS IN THE PITS.

And WE need to TALK ABOUT IT, We have all been there….

You upload your photo into an AI tool, write what you think is the perfect prompt, and what comes back is… a completely different person.

Kimani, we have seen you in real life. Your nose doesn't look like that. 😂

But somehow, you look at that AI version of yourself and say: “Wow, this is amazing.”

No corrections.

No feedback.

No revisions.
You just post it.

Meanwhile your designer, the person who has studied your brand, read your guidelines multiple times,

knows your colors, understands your audience, and is obsessing over every tiny detail from spacing to alignment, gets ten rounds of revisions.
REALLY?

“Change the font.” “Make the logo bigger.” “Can we try another version?”

Round after round.

So I have to ask…

Is it really that the design is not good enough? Or are we really that tired of using our brains that we DON’T DARE question AI

while expecting perfection from the human who actually understands the work?

Because saying “AI can do this and even better” is not just wrong…
It’s honestly a little wild.

Am I missing something? Or have we all just completely lost the plot

P.S. I have been sharing my design work on tiktok and my comments are full of AI can do it better, can you imagine the audacity!!
