I am installing a ventilation duct in the new studio where I will be moving soon. This time, I want to properly install the entire equipment system and proceed with production. Also, my future business goal is to avoid receiving support through government policy projects as much as possible. In other words, I want to create an independent and free company, even if it takes time.
I don’t know about other countries, but startups in my country are highly dependent on government policy project support funds. However, that money does not ensure the survival of startups. I think it would be more accurate to say that it only keeps them alive temporarily.
This is because, to use that money, you have to go through a rigid and highly strict administrative system that meets their standards.
In the end, I realized how foolish it was that I couldn’t use the money where I truly needed it, and instead had to force myself to spend it on something unnecessary. That felt completely wrong to me.
If startups keep operating like that, their core essence fades and they become strange businesses that are optimized for the government’s administrative system. Their only customers are highly educated experts who review and evaluate their policy projects.
In today’s world, nothing new can ever be created within this administrative system. That’s what I believe.
Startups need to find real customers. If you can’t find genuine customers, I think you have to go back to square one and rethink your business plan.
And I have a lot to say about my country’s investment attraction system, but I’ll hold back for now—this is already getting too long.
