Pst. Sando Writes.......
Today, our heart is full of gratitude.
God has blessed our home with five beautiful daughters; and yes, our newest additions are twin girls. ๐๐ถ๐ถ
Let me say something that may not sit well with everyone:
The obsession with having a male child in our culture is not just outdated, it is dangerous.
It quietly teaches families to celebrate some children more than others.
It places unnecessary pressure on parents.
And worst of all, it can make daughters feel like they are โnot enough.โ
That is wrong.
We have been blessed with five daughters; including our newborn twins, and let me be very clear:
We are not waiting for a boy.
We are not โtrying againโ for a different gender.
We are not incomplete.
We are blessed; fully, completely, unapologetically.
And every parent should understand that a child is not valuable because of gender.
Legacy is not carried by sons alone.
And purpose is not assigned based on whether a child is male or female.
Hear this: If your joy depends on having a boy, then the problem is not your children, it is your mindset.
Our daughters are not placeholders for a son.
They are destiny carriers.
They are legacy builders.
They are enough.
Itโs time we stop asking families, โWhere is the boy?โ
And start asking ourselves, โWhy do we think a girl is not enough?โ
We will not bow to cultural pressure.
We will not apologize for Godโs blessings.
And we will not raise our daughters in an environment where they feel second-class.
This ends with us.
Our daughters are not a limitation, they are a revelation. ๐
Big Congratulations To Us!!!!
