Late nights, defining moments, nerves, celebrations, and emotions. July truly had it all.

Looking back to October 2024, when I decided to take the leap and start taking on marketing and social media management, I could never have imagined that less than two years later it would lead to opportunities and milestones like these.

It was an incredible honour to document the undefeated journey of the Maltese U16 Girls National Team as they claimed the gold medal on home soil. Equally, it was a privilege to capture Mġarr United Women's historic UEFA Women's Champions League debut, made even more memorable by their first-ever victory in the competition.

To see my work shared by the official UEFA Women's Champions League page, international referees, and local sports media was beyond anything I had ever imagined and a moment I will always be grateful for.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has trusted, supported, and believed in me throughout this journey. None of this would have been possible without you.

𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 🇲🇹

All is set for Charlie Bonnici's squad to head to Peja, Kosovo for the FIBA Women's European Championship for Small Countries, which will be played between the 23rd and 28th of June.

The squad features numerous new faces who will be debutting with the Senior national team, ensuring a good balance of experience and youthful energy. Head coach Charlie Bonnici will be assisted by Adrian Baldacchino as Assistant Coach and Maria Agius as Head of Delegation, while entrusting veteran Josephine Diaby to lead the Maltese clan as captain throughout the entire tournament.

The tournament will be split in 2 groups of 3 teams, which will then lead to classification fixtures later on throughout the week. The Maltese will play in Group A, which also features Albania and Georgia, with Armenia, Kosovo and Andorra making up Group B.

Paul Ferrante has finalised his selection of players to represent Malta in the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries between the 23rd and the 28th of June. After weeks of preparation, the squad will be en route to Gibraltar this Sunday.

The squad features two Maltese national team debutants, Jordan Tucker and emerging prospect Kai Fabri, complemented by a mix of players who have excelled both locally and overseas this season. Alec Felice Pace and Nathan Xuereb have been appointed team captains for the tournament, earning the confidence of Ferrante and the coaching staff. Omar Said returns in his role as Assistant Coach, while Sandro Ferrante will act as Head of Delegation.

The tournament will be split in 2 main phases, starting off with a round-robin format which then leads to classification fixtures. Joining Malta in the tournament will be hosts Gibraltar, Andorra and San Marino, with all 3 squads expected to be represented by high-level talent.
