Our mission has always been a simple one: to use technology to widen access to justice in Mauritius.
Access to justice starts with access to the law: the right Act, the current version, the case that decided the point. For too long, finding it has been slow and manual.
So we built something and we're opening it to everyone who works with Mauritian law: law practitioners, paralegals, law students, and academics alike.
It's an MCP connector that plugs your AI assistant directly into our database of Mauritian law. It works with any AI client that supports MCP — Claude, and the growing list of others. Behind it sits a knowledge graph of the whole system: every Act linked to the regulations made under it, every judgment to the sections it interprets, every amendment traced to the law that changed it and the date it took effect. So when you ask a question, the AI isn't guessing from memory — it's reading our structured, sourced database of the actual law.
What that means when you ask:

We know the real concern with AI in law: it can sound confident and be wrong. That's exactly why the connector exists. Instead of letting the AI answer from memory, it grounds every answer in the actual source text in our database, flags anything it can't verify against the source, and links you straight to the document so you can confirm it yourself. The AI stays an assistant, never the final word and you can always check its work.
