很多人問我：
為什麼會有 Kitology Design？
為什麼簽這麼多 Official Player？
老實說，最近我開始遲疑了。
不是因為忘了答案。
而是因為一路走來發生太多事了。
Kitology Design 一開始並不是計劃中的事業。
我只是一個喜歡設計的人。
我也沒想過往飛鏢圈子以設計繼續發展，
畢竟我做的設計是包括了Marketing，Branding， Packaging，等等的非飛鏢類設計。
剛好認識印刷廠，剛好想做屬於自己的鏢服。
做出來效果不錯，朋友開始找我設計。
後來一個介紹一個。
慢慢地，就走到了今天。
而飛鏢，也從興趣變成了生活的一部分。
但真正改變我的，不是設計。
而是一個人 — Janan。
當年的我，只是一個默默練鏡的低階玩家。
沒有成績，沒有名氣，沒有資源。
甚至連我自己都覺得自己沒資格。
後來他邀請我成為 DeClub Ambassador。
我開心，卻更害怕。
因為連身邊的人都在問：
「為什麼是你？」
「你憑什麼得到這個機會？」
甚至有人覺得，我應該把位置讓給更有實力的人。
那段時間我真的很難受。
我曾經去找 Janan 說想退出。
結果他花了一個多小時把我留下來。
他說：
「我欣賞的不是你的實力。」
「是你的態度和熱情。」
那一天，我記了一輩子。
後來他說好的带上我一起去台灣比賽。
我說自己還不夠好，不想浪費資源。
他說：
「阿哥帶你去，去玩玩去見識，才會進步。」
可惜後來，這個約定沒有實現。
Janan 因為長期勞累，突然離開了。
那一天，我真的很崩潰。
我失去的不是一位老闆。
而是失去了一位相信我当我妹妹般的大哥哥。
這些年來，很多人以為我簽 Official Player 是為了品牌。
其實不是，至少一開始不是。
我只是想把當年收到的那份善意繼續傳下去。
所以我簽人的標準一直都很簡單：
實力不是最重要。
但態度更重要。
熱忱更重要。
人品更重要。
因為當年的我，也不是最強的人。
卻有人願意給我機會。
我沒有 Janan 那麼有能力。
沒有他那麼有資源。
更沒有他那麼偉大。
但我希望用自己的方式，去幫助那些認真熱愛飛鏢的人。
陪他們成長。
陪他們進步。
陪他們追夢。
看到他們贏比賽，我很開心。
看到他們突破自己，我很感動。
看到他們還記得我，我很滿足。
如果未來有一天，
有更大的品牌來找他們。
有更好的機會等著他們。
我不會阻止。
因為我一直覺得：
他們不是屬於我的。
我只是有幸陪伴他們人生中的其中一段路。
就像幼稚園老師一樣。
總有一天會畢業。
總有一天會上中學。
總有一天會展翅高飛。
而我會很驕傲地說：
「他曾經是我的 Player。」
「我見證過他的成長。」
或許這就是 Kitology Design 堅持到今天的原因。
我們設計的不只是球衣。
我們設計歸屬感。
我們設計夢想。
我們設計人與人之間的信任。
而這一切的開始。
都來自一個曾經在我還什麼都不是的時候，選擇相信我的人。

因為你的夢想，從來沒有停止過。
當年答應你的事情，雖然你不在了，但計劃依舊進行中，直到我去找你和爸爸為止。
The Legacy Continues.
Recently, People often ask me:
Why did you start Kitology Design?
Why do you support and sign so many Official Players?
To be honest, for the first time in a long while, I found myself hesitating when answering.
Not because I forgot the reason.
But because the journey has become much bigger than where it started.
Kitology Design was never part of a grand business plan.
I was simply a designer who wanted to create my own jersey.
I didn’t even expect to grow my design in darts industries as im also doing non dart industries designs, such as : Marketing, Branding, Packaging, etc.
I knew people in the printing industry, so I gave it a try.
Friends started asking for designs.
Then friends of friends.
One order became ten.
Ten became hundreds.
And somehow, that small passion project became what Kitology Design is today.
But the real reason behind what we do isn't design.
It's a person.
His name was Janan.
Years ago, I was nobody in the darts scene.
No achievements. No reputation. No influence.
Just a player who quietly practiced every day and loved the game.
One day, Janan offered me an opportunity to become a DeClub Ambassador.
I was happy. But I was also terrified.
Because even I didn't think I deserved it.
Some people questioned why I was chosen.
Some thought someone stronger should have taken my place.
At one point, I even considered walking away.
When I told Janan I wanted to quit, he spent more than an hour convincing me to stay.
I still remember what he said:
"I don't support you because you're the strongest player."
"I support you because of your attitude and your passion."
Those words stayed with me for the rest of my life.
Not long after that, he promised to bring me to Taiwan for a tournament.
I told him I wasn't good enough.
He told me not to worry. He believed in me.
Unfortunately, life had other plans.
Janan passed away unexpectedly due to overwork.
I was heartbroken.
The darts community lost a leader.
I lost someone who believed in me before I believed in myself.
Many people think I support Official Players because of branding or business.
The truth is...
That's not how it started.
I simply wanted to continue what he gave me.
A chance.
A belief.
A helping hand.
That's why when I choose players, talent is not the most important.
But attitude matters more.
Passion matters more.
Character matters more.
Because once upon a time, I wasn't the strongest player either.
Yet someone still chose to believe in me.
I don't have Janan's resources.
I don't have his influence.
And I certainly can't replace him.
But in my own way, I hope I can help passionate players move one step closer to their dreams.
Watching them improve makes me proud.
Watching them win makes me happy.
Watching them grow makes me grateful.
And if one day a bigger brand, a bigger team, or a better opportunity comes along for them...
I won't stop them.
In fact, I'll be proud.
Because I've always believed that players don't belong to me.
I was simply lucky enough to be part of their journey.
Like a teacher watching students graduate.
One day they leave kindergarten.
Then they move on to secondary school.
Then university.
Then life.
And when that day comes, I'll smile and say:
"They used to be one of my players."
"I had the privilege of witnessing their growth."
Maybe that's what Kitology Design has always been about.
We don't just design jerseys.
We design belonging.
We design opportunities.
We design confidence.
We design communities.
Most importantly...
We help people feel seen before the world notices them.
Because many years ago, someone did exactly that for me.

It continues through every player we support.
Every opportunity we create.
And every person we choose to believe in.
