Cloud Engineer
Location :- VSQ, PJ
Job Purpose Provide administrative support to the Group of companies.
Key Responsibilities & accountabilities ·
Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant infrastructure on Cloud Platforms. ·
Managing network-related, virtualization, compute, data, or security requirements accordance with company security guidelines on Cloud Platforms. ·
Be accountable for all patch management and products upgrade activities to ensure all systems are current. ·
Identifying and implementing the best practices of Cloud architecture to support applications. ·
Orchestrating and automating Cloud-based platforms throughout the infrastructure. ·
Optimize the company’s cloud computing architecture, security,
performance, and availability ·
Work closely with the development team to bring new software releases to production more effectively. ·
Deliver continuous improvement & maintenance of the cloud environment ·
Preparing Cost Estimation, and Cost Optimization for AWS Cloud services. ·
Manage Code Pipeline for continuous CI/CD
Job Competencies
Minimum Education Background : Diploma/Bachelor’s in computer science or related field Minimum Experience 2 years and above.
Strive to learn and adapt new technologies. Background of a Linux/Windows system administrator or backend developer Strong Knowledge in AWS Cloud Services.
Understanding of CI/CD environments. Understanding of security, network, virtualization, load balancing, storage, and database.
Solid understanding of how to secure cloud services and data. Knowledge in Cloudflare is a plus. Knowledge in Docker Container, AWS EKS and ECS is a plus. Knowledge on cloud security and performance tuning is a MUST.
Knowledge in Automation such as Ansible, Puppet, Saltstack etc is a plus.
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and flexibility between tasks Ability to share technical knowledge across the team.
