SSD OR RAM??

The simplest answer that we can gave is to upgrade the Hard Drive to a Solid State Drive.

Read and Write speed is crucial in ensuring a faster loading time for most apps that you plan to use.

But is upgrading the SSD alone is enough?

Nope. If you have a 4GB ram initially and then upgrade another 4GB of ram, there will be a major difference in rendering speed and Frame Per Second in gaming as there are more space for the ram to work behind the scene.

So to conclude, my suggestion is to upgrade the SSD and later upgrade the ram (if possible and if you initially have only 2GB or 4GB of ram).

Korang pernah tak format laptop or tukar SSD tapi laptop still SLOW??? Pernah tak korang terfikir untuk servis and bersihkan laptop?

Laptop yang kipas dan heatsink tepu dengan debu akan jadikan performance laptop drop. Sebab tulah kalau laptop korang bila panas tiba-tiba jadi slow.

Perkara yang lebih buruk adalah, kalau dibiarkan panas yang berpanjangan, besi di bahagian laptop akan mula cair dan rosakkan motherboard. Dalam jangka masa panjang motherboard akan rosak dan mungkin total loss .

Have you planned to upgrade your ram? Having big enough ram ensure the smoothness of your laptop and pc experience which is crucial for gamers and video editors.

Before you add another stick of ram, make sure you know beforehand what your laptop or pc supported. For example, some motherboard is able to support DDR3 while the newer motherboard support DDR4.

Well buying the wrong ram will not cause any damage to the motherboard but it will be unusable and will just cost you a lot of money (if you live in Malaysia 😂).

Also, make sure you know the clock speed of your laptop. If your laptop support 2400mhz but you bought the 2666mhz, the clock speed will probably just calibrate to lower speed and you just wasted your money.

So be a smart consumer and enjoy the game. Ciao folks

Salah satu tanda hard disk akan rosak adalah bila ada "clicking sound" pada hard disk anda. Ada beberapa sebab kenapa ada bunyi "clicking"

1. Kerosakan Fizikal
2. Kepala Read/Write Rosak
3. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) rosak

Apa jadi bila "clicking" sound keluar?? HDD anda akan mula jadi sangat slow dan certain data mungkin akan corrupted. Dalam jangka masa panjang HDD tak boleh digunakan lagi.

Kalau anda simpan semua file penting dalam HDD tu, ooff that is a bad news.

Apa yang saya recommend adalah anda beli another hard drive dan backup semua file awal-awal. Anda boleh juga backup menggunakan cloud storage macam google drive. Benda tu akan stay sampai bila-bila.

So remember the advice and backup your data.

24 June nanti Microsoft akan melancarkan sebuah event yang bernama "What's Next For Windows" dan ada khabar angin yang mengatakan akan ada satu versi baru Windows yang dipanggil Windows 11.

Khabar angin juga mengatakan bahawa Windows 11 ini juga dipanggil Sun Valley Update dengan beberapa tambahan baru pada software nya berbanding Windows 10.

Tapi adakah ia sebuah update yang semua pengguna Windows 10 perlu muat turun atau pengguna diberikan pilihan untuk menaik taraf OS mereka? Kita tunggu update dari Microsoft.

Initially laptop ni datang and owner kata laptop ada masalah tak boleh on. Lepas diagnos and check, masalah laptop ni sebenarnya HDD mati total.

Then kami rasa laptop agak panas and lepas check laptop ni sangat berdebu.

So end up kami end up recommend tiga benda, upgrade HDD ke SSD, deep cleaning then tukar thermal paste sebab laptop dah around 4 tahun.

Lepas bincang and customer agree untuk upgrade, kami proceed and inilah resultnya.

DELL INSPIRON 1420

Laptop ni di manufactured tahun 2017 which mean laptop ni dah lebih kurang 13 tahun.

Laptop ni datang ke kedai kami dengan sikit masalah which dia taknak hidup and banyak masalah lain.

Lepas kami check kami dapati 3 masalah which is ram rosak, hard disk total loss dan masalah battery.

So lepas bincang dengan customer and negotiate harga paling berpatutan kami proceed dan baiki.

So as you can see the laptop masih hidup dan boleh run Windows 10.

The thing we love about this laptop is how upgradable it is. Masih ada dua slot yang boleh diupgrade dan cpu pun boleh upgrade.

To conclude, laptop 2007 ni masih practical dan kalau anda ada laptop lama, daripada jual mungkin lebih baik untuk upgrade saja.

Windows Update Sangat Membosankan.

Lagi-lagi kalau anda lama tak update Windows ataupun run laptop gunakan HDD.

Tapi penting ke updates Windows?

The answer is Yes!

Sebab pertama adalah security patches yang mereka masukkan setiap kali update.

Setiap hari mesti akan ada masalah seperti Virus atau Malware baru yang boleh rosakkan system dan drive anda, jadi Team Microsoft akan pastikan anda updates laptop dengan patches terbaru.

And yup kadang-kadang boleh jadi annoying.

Plus updates penting untuk pastikan driver hardware (keyboard, speaker, graphic card) berfungsi dengan baik. Kadang-kadang kalau certain hardware tak berfungsi mungkin disebabkan driver yang outdated.

Jadi saya sarankan before anda tidur, biarkan laptop cas dan jalankan Windows updates.
