Job Title: Java Web Developer
Location: KUALA LUMPUR
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Java Web Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
- Manage Java and Java EE application development.
- Ensure designs comply with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience.
- Proven working experience in Java development.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Object-Oriented Analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.).
- Experience in the Spring Framework.
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
- Experience with test-driven development.
- At least 3 years of experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.
- Knowledge of relational databases, MYSQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience in developing web services, RESTful API.
