If you have an inverter insta||ed in your home, you may wish to read this post!
So, yesterday, I guess we all saw those trending video clips from Lagos.
Cust0mers and staff of a certain Lagos branch of UBA were seen in the video either jumping from the windows of a tall building or being helped out.

Here are some key tips 👇
1. Good Ventilation – Always keep inverters and batteries in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Avoid tight cupboards or closed spaces.

3. Proper Installation – Get a qualified technician to handle installation. Wrong wiring or undersized cables can cause overheating and spark a fire.
4. Load Management – Never overload the inverter with appliances beyond its capacity.
5. Battery Check – Inspect batteries regularly for leaks, corrosion, or swelling. Replace weak ones quickly.
6. Safety Gear – Use circuit breakers, fuses, and surge protectors. Also, keep a fire extinguisher nearby (CO₂ type is best).
7. Routine Maintenance – Dust, loose connections, or weak terminals should be fixed immediately. Regular inspection is
