Attended the 2-day Non-Profit Regulatory Compliance Training organized by Global Rights in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The training provided valuable insights into regulatory requirements and best practices for non-profits and non-business organizations. Hour of Code 2024 with Scratch & Gitanjali Rao

You are invited to join the Scratch Foundation on December 10th, 1-2pm ET, for a live create-along with Gitanjali Rao! Celebrate by exploring a remixable project along with inventor and scientist, Gitanjali Rao, and Maren from the Scratch Team, while they have a lively conversation about Gitanjali’s process and demonstrate things to try. 🚀 We’ve reached an exciting milestone as we concluded Phase-3 of our Girls-Learn-Code initiative today, Thursday, 24th October, 2024 at African Church Grammar School (Senior), Ita-Eko, Abeokuta, Ogun State! 🌟 (10/10 - Phase-3).

Our final group of 100 girls were equipped with Scratch creative coding skills, marking the completion of an impactful journey through 10 public schools in our community of practice.

In total, 1,000 girls have been inspired and empowered with creative coding and critical thinking abilities/skills during this phase using our Scratch Family Bonding Flashcards. The enthusiasm and creativity we’ve witnessed throughout this journey reaffirm the importance of nurturing young girls in STEM & Computer Science Education. 💻✨
