Registration is often where humanitarian programmes lose valuable time.
Anyone who has worked in humanitarian response knows the pattern. Families queue for hours over paper forms. Names get spelled three different ways across three different logbooks. Some people return the next day just to get onto a list.

When we deployed CHATS across four IDP camps in Nigeria, our field teams onboarded households in an average of one to two minutes each, using a mobile device. Every family was issued an NFC card linked to their household profile, which they used to access consultations, testing, and treatment at participating clinics.
Households got onto the programme without the long queues or the repeat visits that usually come with them.

Speed at registration is not a vanity metric. In a crisis, every day between “we are here to help” and “help received” is a day someone waits for support they urgently need.
If your organisation would like to explore CHATS, send us a DM or email [email protected]

In Nigeria’s IDP camps, one malaria or typhoid episode can cost a family more than they can afford.

CHATS gave 1,100 displaced households another option: one NFC card to Tap, Verify and Receive care.

If your organisation delivers health, food, or cash assistance in hard-to-reach settings, we should talk.

Somewhere in an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, a mother carries her sick child to the camp clinic. She’s been there before.

Last time, she was turned away. The record said her child had already received treatment when he hadn’t. So, she went home without care.

Situations like this repeat in different forms: someone else’s name recorded in the wrong place, paper records damaged by water, or the volunteer who knew the family had rotated out.

This happens more than it should.

Last-mile delivery systems for medicines and vaccines exist but are constrained by fragmented systems, limited visibility or management across disconnected systems.

CHATS tracks aid, money, vouchers, and medical supplies every step of the way, from where they start to the person who finally receives them.

In CHATS’ malaria treatment outreach programme, every patient’s journey is digitally tracked. CHATS helps programme stakeholders answer the questions that matter:
1. Who received what?
2. When was it redeemed?
3. Which facility provided the treatment?
4. Can the intervention be verified with auditable digital records?

Every handover is recorded and immutable. So whether you’re a donor, an implementing organisation, or a health worker on the ground, you can see exactly where things went and prove it.

This is accountability, with technology reducing the gap.

That’s the future we’re building at CHATS.
