Today I bring to you another useful plant
Called spinach..

SPINACH is leafy green vegetables native to central and western Asia.
In Nigeria we call it green and can be used to prepare soups,stew(sours),porridge etc.

The following are it's benefit.
It is rich in Vitamins A, C, and K.

It is rich in iron,calcium,folate and magnesium.

It contains compound such as lutein and Zeaxanthin that helps to promote eye and heart health.

It contains Nitrate that helps blood to flow more easily because it widens the blood vessels

It contains potassium that helps the kidney to eliminate excess sodium.

Note:-it is advised not to feed infant with spinach because it affects there heart health.

Good day everyone,hope your day is going on fine.

Six year ago,I came in contact with beetroot when my brother was sick because we were advised to blend it along other fruits for him.
I never knew the health benefits until recently when I did research and discovered.

So below are the benefits

* It increases stamina by improving oxygen
use.
*. It is a source of foliate, vitamin B9, potassium,manganese and iron.

* The nitrates found in beetroot helps to widen the blood vessels thereby promoting lower blood pressure.

* It supports overall cell growth and immune function.

* It contains high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which can lower the risk of cancer.

* It aids digestion because is rich in fiber.

* It contains natural sugar and glucose

* It used to boost blood level.

Note:-Beetroot is highly nutritious, has low calories and older adults are advised to consume it more because it aids blood flow to the brain.
