WHEN GOD IS SILENT ABOUT YOUR PRAYER POINTS, IT MEANS THREE THINGS — APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

Sometimes, silence from God is not rejection — it’s communication.
Heaven speaks even in silence.

When God is silent about your prayer requests, it usually means one of three things:

1. You are not ready.
In Luke 15, the prodigal son demanded his inheritance before maturity and wasted it.
Sometimes God’s silence is His mercy. He would rather delay than destroy you.

2. The timing is not right.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He makes all things beautiful in His time.”
God’s delays are not denials; they are designs. The womb of time is where promises mature.

3. God is working behind the scenes.
While you are praying, God may be aligning people, systems, and seasons.
Daniel prayed for 21 days before Gabriel brought his answer (Daniel 10:12–13).

Beloved, don’t confuse divine silence with divine absence.
When God is quiet, stay in faith.
When God hides, seek Him.
Because even His silence is a message — “Trust Me, I’m not done yet.”

THIS IS WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD WANTS TO DO IN YOUR LIFE – APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

You are carrying something that is weighty. There is a formation of Christ taking place in you, and it is taking time. A man of God is emerging out of this sacrifice; an intercessor is evolving; a career giant is rising. But the question is: Are you patient enough to allow the Spirit of God finish what He is doing?

No matter how hungry you are, if they tell you that the food is still on the fire, you will wait. You may roam around the kitchen, but you will still wait. And by the time the cook is done, you will enjoy the luxury of eating to your full. That is exactly what the Spirit of God is doing, He is building something in your life. And while that building is happening, you may not have the kind of money you desire, the influence you envision, or even see prophecies manifesting. But do not give in to the temptation of Satan.

Satan is the master of the sense realm. Once he discovers that your senses are within his domain, he begins to manipulate them. That is why you must remain spiritually minded. To be spiritually minded is life and peace, but to be carnally minded leads to frustration. The moment you reduce yourself to carnality, you start calculating your destiny mathematically, sociologically, and logically, and the end result is discouragement, because you will not immediately see the profit of serving God.

One thing you must realize is that the Holy Spirit is in this journey with you. You can tell Him when you feel tired; you can lean on Him when you feel overwhelmed. He is not just forming something in you, He is forming you.

Be patient with the process of God in your life. What He is building is bigger than what you can see right now. Though the journey may feel slow, remain faithful, remain spiritual, and remain yielded. In due season, the fullness of what He is working on will manifest, and you will see that every moment of waiting was worth it.

SACRIFICE THESE TWO THINGS OR FORGET ABOUT THE ANOINTING — APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

There is no true anointing without sacrifice. Every man greatly used by God has laid something precious on the altar.
If you are not ready to die to these two things, the anointing will remain a theory to you.

1️⃣ The Sacrifice of Comfort.
You cannot host the Spirit of Power and still live for convenience. The anointing grows in the wilderness, not in luxury.
Moses met God on a mountain; Jesus fasted forty days in the desert.
📖 “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit.” — Luke 4:14

If you love sleep, ease, and entertainment more than His presence, you will never command spiritual authority.

2️⃣ The Sacrifice of Reputation.
To be anointed, you must die to men’s opinions. People will call you extreme, fanatical, even mad — but you must love His voice more than applause.
📖 “He made Himself of no reputation.” — Philippians 2:7

Ask Elijah, Elisha, or Apostle Babalola — they were misunderstood before they were celebrated.

So when God begins to demand your time, your image, and your ease — rejoice.
He’s preparing a vessel that demons will recognize.
If you can sacrifice comfort and reputation, you’re not far from oil.
