It can be very difficult for me to keep especially financial record. record what? how? when? and even when I manage to do that, it will be on one note like that, that after some time I don't even know which note exactly. (Story for another day)

Okay, someone asked me to show her a sample of the financial report column.😍

Una know me na, I will go the extra mile to do that.
Now this software generates a lot of financial report. But the screen shot I uploaded is that of debtors report.

Please I had to hide my client's identity oooo, with his permission ofcourse.🙏

I don't know if the screen shot is clear enough. but you will see each customer that is owing my client, and the due date they were supposed to pay.

If you watch closely you will see overdue date.

You would see the amount a customer is suppose the pay, the amount the customer is owning.

You would also see the total amount my client is supposed to have, and total amount as balance due.

At a glance you can access your financial report, even balance sheet.
And yesssss it generates your profit and loss report.

Any software that can track your expenses and receivable, should be able to give a profit and loss report.

It is not just about issuing out manual (paper) invoice/receipt to your client.

I come from a home where you work from Sunday to Sunday ( I mean farm work ooo)

Okay Its Sunday to Saturday, because that sunday, after church service, you could carry a very big bag of cloth to the river to wash or a wheelbarrow of cassava to the river to wash (convert to fufu).

You wan complain, my dad will tell you that you didn't go to farm na....... so you are practically resting.

Or we would wake up one morning and it is declared work free day, but you would wash all the curtains, bedspread, clear grass around the surrounding etc.

So for me, I preferred all day work.
As for me, my definition of a work free day, is the day breakfast is served to me on bed, and I won't lift up an object to work.

A baby girl needs pampering sometimes.

Some service base firms are still operating in very hard labour without rest, that cost them more money, time and resources, without result.

Some boss will be calling their staff on Sunday, to ask for financial report, mean while he could access it himself, even from the comfort of his bed.

Please rest from hard labour, hard labour kills.

I went to submit my proposal somewhere, so I was asked to wait.

A lady came out with my proposal in her hands and said this is a nice proposal, and I like your work, but she said '' Are you the owner? I replied yes, she repeated you are the one that will deploy this software, I replied yes again.

In my mind mind, I'm like I don't understand?

Please ma, is anything the matter? I asked out of curiosity.
She replied noooooo, Its just that you look small and portable.

I looked at her, smiled and said thank you ma.

I may look small, but the content in my brain is bigger than you, and you need it. Plus the fact that I have a big GOD.

I might be saying deploy Invoicing and Expenses Tracking Software, and in your mind, they have come for my money.

A software that generate electronic invoice/receipt for you, which if you still want to, you can print it out. and stop wasting 40k to 50k every 3-5 months if not more than in printing manual invoice/receipt, which after a long period of time, you don't even know where a particular receipt is.

Or better still after a long period of time, you gather all the receipt and burn it up, maybe because it is now the bedroom of cockroach or toilet for rats.😂😂

Okay most people don't know that there certain loans and grants, which you may want to apply for, and they will need the financial history of your firm........ haaa, that is when you start cracking your brain and generating figures that don't exist...... weldon oooooo.

Before now, I used to work in a firm where every week we hold Monday meeting, and management would demand for weekly financial report for the purpose of appraisal, but unfortunately enough the report is never provided.

Management: Accountant where is the financial report?
Accountant: Miss joy, you are yet to submit your report.
Miss Joy: Sorry ma, I submitted it, but only to find out that there was a transaction that was not recorded. I will do the needful and forward it to you.

Each time excuse upon excuse, most times accountant fabricates figure just to make sure a financial report was submitted. This is no super story ooo.

What if they had an invoicing and expenses tracking software in their system, management would at a glance see all financial activities going on from the comfort of his/her bedroom.

At a glance, management can see all customer database, those active and non-active, those you want to delete from your system, you delete easily.

Management can see all expenses that was run in a daily bases from the comfort of his/her bed room.

Every business should at a glance be able to tell if they are making profit or loss.

I remember going to a security firm, to do a presentation on the importance of deploying Invoicing and Expenses Tracking Software for them.

The whole process was so amazing. As I was talking the director said "Please wait let me get my jotter and a pen".

He was writing down as I explained the list of things this amazing software does. Then he asked a question, " What if we want it to calculate profit and loss from 9th of September to 29th of October, can it do that?

Yes of course it can, it has a custom field where you can tell it from what date to what date you want a particular financial report. Even if it is for 3 years joined together, it can do that.

We love this HE said, and we need to install it as fast as possible.

Each time a client reaches out to me, I take my time to understand what exactly it is the client actually wants.

I go as far as asking questions, Sir do you mean you want an Invoicing and Expense tracking software that can do this and that?

As I am asking those questions, I write them down, then give out solutions to those problems.

Sir/Ma, I believe if we do it this way, we can achieve your desired result. My Client agrees and we are off to work.

Just tell me why won't I deliver an excellent result.

Moral lesson: Never assume you understand what your client wants, ask questions, make sure you are both on the same page before you commence work.
