"10 portfolio red flags that can cost you your next job as a designer!
Avoid number 9 at all cost.
1. Outdated work
2. Overcrowded with projects
3. No context - Clients like to see your thought process and how your design solves a specific problem.
4. Poor image quality
5. Irrelevant work or projects
6. No contact info
7. No personal touch
8. Lack of originality - Don’t copy other people’s work
9. Broken links - Nothing is more frustrating to a client than links in a portfolio that are broken. It shows carelessness in your portfolio.
10. If portfolio building is not one of your plans, this may be your cue to include it in your plan now, especially if you’re looking for new opportunities.
