A research problem, research question, and research objective are related, but they are not the same thing.

This is one of the reasons many students struggle with Chapter One. The topic may look fine, but if the problem, questions, and objectives do not align, the whole project can become confusing.

Before you start writing, make sure you can clearly answer these three questions:

What issue is my study addressing?

What question is my study trying to answer?

What exactly does my study want to achieve?
